Broken Bars, consisting of 4 current members. (Arista, Mr Mustard, Deasiah & Immature Minds). Broken Bars was founded by Arista and Mr Mustard roughly in March of 2006,

Just a month after Mr Mustard started spitting. From then on came a few tracks over well known beats such as Jay-Z's 'Bonnie and Clyde' and a Task Force beat 'Life Without Instructions'.

After this, Broken Bars decided they needed a producer to do a track for them, so they set out looking for one. After a short while they came across a producer known as the Mysteries from up London way, who happily made the Broken Bars duo a beat... this was the first tune Broken Bars ever properly did. Called 'No Point', a low budget demo video was also made for it...

Now 3 or so months after this Broken Bars are busting out tunes with beats made by all types of producers from around the UK, and have managed to get their own in house producer "Immature Minds" and also the addition of a new member to the Broken Bars collective known as "Deasiah".
